R-CCS is one of Japan’s leading research centers for high-performance computing and computational science. It is located on Port Island in Kobe, a major international port city in western Japan.

Access
Nearest Station
The nearest station is Keisan Kagaku Center Station on the Port Liner line.
R-CCS is located about a 3-minute walk from Keisan Kagaku Center Station.
Please note that there is no visitor parking at R-CCS. Participants are encouraged to use public transportation.
From Sannomiya Station
From Sannomiya Station, take the Port Liner bound for Kobe Airport and get off at Keisan Kagaku Center Station.
The ride from Sannomiya to Keisan Kagaku Center Station takes approximately 15 minutes.
Please take the Port Liner bound for Kobe Airport, not the line bound for Kita Futo.
From Shin-Kobe Station
From Shin-Kobe Station, take the Kobe City Subway to Sannomiya Station. At Sannomiya, transfer to the Port Liner bound for Kobe Airport and get off at Keisan Kagaku Center Station.
From Kobe Airport
From Kobe Airport, take the Port Liner toward Sannomiya and get off at Keisan Kagaku Center Station.
The ride from Kobe Airport to Keisan Kagaku Center Station takes approximately 5 minutes.
From Kansai International Airport (KIX)
From Kansai International Airport, participants may take an airport limousine bus or train connection to Sannomiya, and then transfer to the Port Liner bound for Kobe Airport.
Please check the latest schedules and routes before traveling.
Accommodation
Participants are recommended to stay near Sannomiya or nearby central Kobe areas, as these areas provide convenient access to the Port Liner and to restaurants, shops, and transportation.
Recommended areas include:

- Motomachi
- Kobe Harborland
- Shin-Kobe

Visa Information
Participants who require an invitation letter for visa application purposes should indicate this in the registration form.
The organizing committee will contact participants who request visa support after their registration has been submitted.
